The National Museum of Ireland, Collins is thrilled to welcome Mother Pride Block Party back on Friday June 26 and Saturday June 27, 2026. 

The Mother Pride Block Party is set across multiple stages on the historic grounds of the National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks. Starting as a spontaneous street party outside the Mother club over a decade ago, it grew year on year becoming the official Pride Parade afterparty and largest ticketed event of Pride.  

For 2026, The Block Party will be a two day celebration! On Friday June 26, we will host Scissor Sisters as part of our Mother Pride Opening Party! Tickets are on sale now.  

On Saturday June 27 an exciting 2026 line up will include Sofi Tucker, Jinkx Monsoon, Jodie Harsh, Cakes Da Killa and many more. Join us for a massive day of queer celebration in the heart of Dublin. Get your tickets for both days via Eventbrite.

Scissor Sisters to headline Mother Pride Opening Party 2026, Friday June 26 

We are kicking off our Pride weekend with a truly iconic moment: Scissor Sisters return to Dublin for a massive open-air party at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks. 

Joining them onstage are some of our most beloved performers and DJs: Peaches (DJ Set), Panti Bliss, Tara Kumar, Mother DJs, Naomi Diamond, Pixie Woo, Marty Guilfoyle, Jen Payne 

"Two decades after kicking the door down to redefine pop music with genre bending hits like Take Your Mama, I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’ and Let’s Have a Kiki, Jake Shears, Babydaddy, Del Marquis and their band return with their signature mix of chaos, glam, grit and unapologetic queer joy - still unstoppable and forever filthy/gorgeous." 

Expect an electrifying night of queer celebration soundtracked by one of the most influential pop acts of the century. 

As the opening Party for Pride & the Mother Pride Block Party Weekend, this event is set to be a glittering celebration of community, music, and pure queer joy.

Visitor Information 


Opening Hours  

The National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks opening hours during the event will be 10:00 – 14:00 on Saturday 28 June. The Museum will reopen as normal at 13:00 on Sunday 29 June. 

Museum Access  

From Sunday June 21 – Thursday July 02 

The Museum car park is closed during these dates and there will be no public vehicular access through the site.

Public pedestrian access to the museum will continue via Benburb Street, the Luas Gate and Arbour Hill. 

All gates will be open to the public 15 minutes prior to the Museum opening hours and will close 15 minutes after the Museum closes during these dates. 

Tuesday June 23 – Saturday June 27, open 09:45 and closes 17:15 

Exceptions on the Day of the Mother Block Party Event, Saturday June 27 

Public pedestrians can access the Museum from 10:00 until 14:00 via the Benburb St and Luas pedestrian gates only. 

The Arbour Hill gate will be fully closed to the public on Saturday June 27 

The Museum and Collins Barracks grounds will be closed to the public from 14:00 on June 27 


Public Parking  

There will be no public parking available at our Collins Barracks site from Sunday 21 June – Thursday 02 July inclusive (except for accessible parking - see below). 

Accessible Parking 

There will be limited accessible parking available on site for blue badge holders from Sunday 21 June to Thursday 02 July.

There are no accessible spaces available on the day of the Event, Saturday 27 June. Please liaise with the Steward at the gate when you arrive and they will advise on limited accessible spaces available on Arbour Hill instead.
