Echoes Through the Hallway explores the rich history of the Benburb Street Dwellings and the generations of people who made their homes there. From its construction in the 1880s as one of Dublin's earliest social housing developments, to the recent refurbishment of Ellis Court, this exhibition traces more than 140 years of community life, resilience and change.

Developed by Tuath Housing in partnership with Dublin City Council and supported by the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, the exhibition brings together archival records, photographs, maps and personal stories to reveal the everyday experiences of residents past and present. The exhibition reveals how housing, health, work, family life and social change shaped both the lives of individuals and the wider history of Dublin city.

As Ellis Court begins a new chapter, this exhibition celebrates the people whose lives, memories and communities have left a lasting imprint on these historic buildings.
