I greatly enjoy giving 'Guides Guide' tours of the Museum. I love storytelling and social history but very often the artefacts illicit amazing stories from our visitors and I learn as much from them as they exchange opinions and ideas about the people and times associated with these objects.

Tours are free, no booking required, places allocated on a first come basis. Meet at Reception, on the ground floor. Wheelchair accessible. Children must be fully supervised by a parent or adult who is in loco parentis. 

Tours and late openings are part of the Dublin by Dusk series of city wide events at cultural and heritage organisations and supported by the Night Time Night-Time Economy Unit of  An Roinn Cultúir, Cumarsáide agus Spóirt, the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport.
