Tour at the National Museum of Ireland, Kildare Street

Follow a public tour at the National Museum of Ireland on Kildare to mark this year's Cruinniú na nÓg.

Join a Highlights of the National Museum of Ireland tour to see the key objects on display, including the Ardagh Chalice and the 'Tara' brooch, learn about the coming of Christianity and the saints of Ireland on the Saints and Scholars Tour, or discover all about the Vikings on The Vikings in Ireland Tour. 

Please Note: All of the tours that are taking place for the festival are listed below. The Viking in Ireland Tour is not wheelchair accessible. 

No booking required, places allocated on a first come first served basis. Meet in the Reception, on the ground floor. Families with children 8+. Children must be fully supervised by a parent or adult who is in loco parentis.

The tours that will be taking place are:

Saturday 6th June
10:30am: Highlights of the National Museum of Ireland
12pm: The Saints and Scholars of Ireland 
2pm: The Vikings in Ireland
3:30pm: Highlights of the National Museum of Ireland
